Named Clothing Patterns have just released their SS17 collection. As you would expect from this Scandinavian pattern company, the latest range is super stylish. The names are based on children's book characters and the whole collection has a playful feel to it with out being childish.
Let's not waste any time getting to know these new characters!
Ok, hands up who has been considering a pair of dungarees recently? With Instagram and Pinterest full of off-duty models and street stylers looking relaxed and super cool in theirs, who can blame you? If you have not yet boarded the dungaree train, now is the time. Ronja are high waisted and cropped, 2 big trends covered there. Though I am not sure I would be brave enough to wear them in white denim (I am an unapologetic coffee spiller) an Olive green denim pair would be awesome.
Reeta is the elusive versatile dress that can be worn with flats by day and add a pair of heels and a sparkly clutch it will take you straight to the bar of the swankiest joint in town! Named have made theirs in a pretty floral but I would love to see a version in this Cubic geometric viscose crepe.
Appealing to the big kid in us all, the Helga playsuit has a neat wrap front and sexy racer back. Our lightweight viscose Challis in red polkadots would be perfect for this playful number.
Anneli is a dress or top with a clever double layer detail.
Ansa top or dress features pretty butterfly sleeves and a curved bust detail.
Maisa is your ultimate denim jacket, this patchwork version is perfect for denim stash busting!
Minttu will be the top you wear every single day once the sun eventually comes out. For now, make it in something slinky and wear it out at night!
In my school Ninni was a playground insult, but these easy elasticated culottes are anything but insulting. Perfect project for beginners to dressmaking.
