Hey Pretty Woman!

Remember that spotty dress Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman?  Ever since I saw that film I have had an obsession about spots, especially on dresses!

Here are my top Fabric Godmother picks to recreate your own Pretty Woman moment
Make the Betty dress in this fabric and you could literally be mistaken for Julia Roberts (minus the Millions in the bank and Richard Gere)

Imagine the Colette Dahlia dress in this fabric. It would be the ideal summer party or wedding dress

With it's charcoal spots, this stretch cotton satin would make the best Veronkia fitted dress with little capped sleeves.

Fancy a new Breton??

Need a new Breton tee in your life?? Hell yes, always!  Here are our latest picks for a Breton with a twist.

Ceba is a luxury viscose jersey, top quality with amazing drape to it.  Make a classic Lark Tee (using the boat neck and 3/4 sleeve option) and imagine yourself with white jeans sitting on a yacht!

This textured ponte roma jersey with it's sky blue stripes on a navy background is crying out to be made into a Coco dress

This crepe textured jersey would be stunning made into a Simple sew Batwing top, ok not a classic Breton but still super stylish. Pair it with a pair of slim trousers in our Stretch cotton sateen in Royal Blue

Ok I know it's not a stripe buuuut.....A. I had to check you were paying attention and B. how could I miss out this fantastic new jersey!! Imagine an Agnes top or Nettie dress made in this!!

If you want to learn to sew your own jersey Tee why not join our Learn to sew with jersey class on the 17th july. Taught under the watchful eye of Zoe Edwards (So Zo blog) she will help you make a Lark tee shirt and teach you have to sew with jersey on your standard sewing machine.

Your favourite fabric is back in stock - Limited stock only

If you missed out on any of these stunning fabrics last time. Have no fear, you've got a second chance! We've managed to secure a limited amount of stock of these best sellers.

Herringbone linen and viscose mix. Make yourself for a pair of loose summer trousers in this wonderful fabric. The addition of viscose to this linen reduces creases and give it an amazingly soft drape and handle.

Ridge jersey. Zoe, from So, Zo...what do you know? blog fame, made a wonderful dress with this jersey so I am really pleased to have it back in stock. Head over to her blog to see her dress here.

Medallione viscose I cannot tell you how amazing this fabric is! It is a thick woven viscose with a slightly silky feel to it. I would use it to make a pair of 'day time' PJs and wear them with a pair of killer heels! It has a real designer feel to it.

Hedegrow cotton voile This is the prettiest lightweight cotton voile. Birds, butterflies and flowers digitally printed on this fabric give it an almost ethereal feel.

Swiss dot cotton lawn This is the fabric I used for my Bardot top last summer (see how to make yours here) It is a pretty cotton with a subtle swiss dot pattern.

Leopard print jersey, this orange fabric really pops and is a favourite of mine, I used it to make a bright tee, what will you make?

Grey denim, use this grey denim to make a lighter shade of jeans than your classic indigo.

Red & black 2 tone denim is screaming 'TURN UPS' at me! Make the most of the coloured inside of this denim or keep it as your special secret either way this denim rocks!
